We have several ministries for kids at DMGC! Take a look below.
Our desire is to reach children for Jesus Christ through quality teaching and fun activities intended to build a solid spiritual foundation in the life of each child.
We will love your children - share the Gospel with them, disciple believers toward spiritual maturity and partner with parents, encouraging every family to make a whole life commitment to our Savior, Jesus Christ.
For additional information about Children's Ministries, please contact our Youth Ministries Coordinator Matt Kieswether at firstname.lastname@example.org or through the Chapel Office at 206-878-2145.

MIDWEEK ACTIVITIES DURING THE SCHOOL YEAR
KidREACH: Tuesdays, 5:00-6:00 PM
KidREACH is a World Vision partner program; an After School Academic Mentoring Program for children desiring tutoring help with school work during the school year. Currently we are working with children from Des Moines Elementary School. Dinner is included. Applications are available through the church office or Des Moines Elementary School. This is strictly an academic program.
Awana: Tuesdays, 6:30-8:00 PM
Awana is a Bible-based fun program for boys and girls in grades K-6 on Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:00 PM during the school year. To register online: Awana Registration Form.
MOPS Kids Program
The MOPS Kids program runs simultaneously with our MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers) program on the first and third Thursdays of each month during the school year. For more information about MOPS and MOPS Kids, please click here.
Nursery: Sundays, 10:00 AM for ages 0-Preschool years
The Nursery at DMGC provides a loving and secure environment for our babies and toddlers through preschool. Parents can drop off their little ones in our bright and modern nursery wing on the lower level and attend the service with peace of mind knowing that their young ones are well cared for. All nursery helpers attend DMGC, are carefully screened and have background checks.
Sunday School for Grades K-5: Sundays, during the 10:00 AM Sunday Service
The elementary school years are a time when children begin to make their faith their own. Students meet in the Sunday school auditorium to worship and praise the Lord together through music and then study God's Word in small groups. Our wonderful leaders teach the Bible, the importance of prayer, God's love and how to apply biblical principles to their lives. Children are encouraged to bring their Bibles to class every Sunday. We will share with your children the Lord's desire to have a personal relationship with them.
Dedication of Children
Child dedication is intended to be a significant commitment on the part of the parents who want, with God's grace, to live Godly lives and raise children "in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." Child dedication does not make anyone a Christian. We are saved by grace alone through faith in Jesus Christ. Parents desiring to dedicate their children should contact Pastoral Team member, Mac Sauerlender, at either email@example.com or 206-878-2145.
