Take a moment and get to know our team
Des Moines Gospel Chapel is led by a team of pastor, or elders, who are responsible for the pastoral care of our local church. We work alongside many wonderful leaders who share our heart for Jesus and His People. We co-labor with our Deacons and Women's Ministry Team in fulfilling our Mission at DMGC.

Josh Doty
Youth and Families
Josh, a native of Massachusetts, moved to Seattle in 2007, came to know Jesus in 2010, and has been serving kids, families, and youth in some capacity since 2011. For nearly a decade, he has been on staff at a Mountlake Terrace church. He's passionate about seeing kids and youth come to know Jesus, finding their specific role within the kingdom of God, and equipping parents to not only raise up the next generation of the church but also to grow deeper in their own walk with God as they navigate life and faith as a family.
Josh places a high value on relationships as they can both echo and show a need for a relationship with our Creator. We need community, and this begins with relationships. Whether you’re five, twenty-five, or seventy-five, relationships are so very important. Josh is always ready with a high five and a “how are you doing?”
He and his wife, Christine, have been married since 2017 and have been serving together, in various capacities, since 2013. They enjoy hosting gatherings and barbecues at their home and giving kids ample opportunities to chase the dog and cat around the house.
